In today’s time it has become a habit amongst us all to stay glued to your gadgets and social media accounts. Gone are those days when people used to spend hours reading interesting books, novels, stories, poetry etc.

It is very important to read books to have a holistic upbringing of thoughts and one such book that you will enjoy reading is “A Tale of Two Cities.” This historical novel was written in 1859 by Charles Dickens.

This book was in Paris and London. It tells the story of the French Doctor Manette and his struggles which include his very long imprisonment in the Bastille. His release to life in London with daughter Lucie, whom he met for the first time. There is Lucie's collision between her husband and the people who caused her father's imprisonment. The story is basically set against the conditions that led to the French Revolution.
